Expertise: haha! I try a lot of things, expertise... We'll see when it comes to an actual expertise!! Well, one might say kissing..... heehee!! I'll go for smiling; I like that one a lot! I love to paint but I will never be to the point that I say it’s an expertise, although I’d like for others to think so and buy my stuff!! I sell Mary Kay and maybe some day my expertise in it will pay of with a car, haha!! After that, eh - I'm willing to try most things and if it matures then I'll see if there's ever something I can call an expertise.

| Hello All! I hope that things are well for you today! Here's some info about this weekend if you're interested! (I'll be writing an update soon, this one just isn't it) FYI - the City of Columbia Fall Festival of the Arts is this weekend in downtown Columbia! There are events taking place all over downtown in such places as the Boone County National Bank (the show that my work is in), the Courthouse Square, City Hall, First National Bank and other places downtown. So if you get a chance this Saturday or Sunday (September 23-24) you should stop by!! It's running from 10am – 5pm both days! Also, in Ashland there is the Ashland Fall Festival on Saturday 23rd, from what I've heard it's main hours of activity are something like 10am – 2pm, so there's that option too! | so I’m sitting here doing homework and all these wonderful things in Chicago keep popping up, like things at the art institute, millinum park and just art around town. Which normally would be nice because I LOVE Chicago! But this time I’m just kinda sad, the art dept leaves for Chicago tomorrow morning and I’m not going, I don’t know why I’m so sad about it, I think I’m just in a sad mood, but really, I just want to go to Chicago. O well. I think I’ll be heading over to St. Louis to go to the Art Museum, City Museum, Forrest Park in general (and yes that means the zoo!) and some galleries and shows sometime soon. Maybe during Spring break, but then I’d be going by myself and that’s never fun, but peaceful. I think I just really need a break. Well there’s only 8 more weeks of classes and that’s pretty much amazing, not that I’m counting or anything. As much as I hate college I do love art.
OHH I have 2 (maybe 3 – I haven’t heard on one of them yet) pieces in a show right now! So that’s exciting! I love it when I make it into juried shows! It is so rewarding!
Anyways, I think I’ll like tennis, although I’ve never really played – soo oh wow will I be awful! But that’s okay.
Saturday we’re celebrating Megan’s birthday at Les Bourgeois, so that will be fun and relaxing! And Tuesday will be wonderful! I scheduled a message!!! Yep! Me, Kristin and Megan are all going for massages on Tuesday, I am soo excited! I really wanted to go tonight, but being that I just called today, I guess it’s only normal that for all involved we’d have to wait a week.
Anyways that’s enough for now, I don’t think I’m so sad about Chicago and Michigan Ave. now that I remember the massage… but if anyone is heading to Chicago anytime soon… let me know and I just might tag along!
